Teen shot in Plantersville

PLANTERSVILLE – A juvenile is recovering after suffering a gunshot wound Thursday, Dec. 21, in Plantersville.

Grimes County Investigator, John Jones, stated at approximately 8:42 p.m., three juveniles ages 16-17, were in possession of a firearm, and the gun was discharged striking the victim in the lower leg. The victim was treated for the injury and is recovering.

“This incident is still under investigation, including the actions that lead up to the discharge of the firearm,” explained Jones.
