Owls end impressive season
KAUFMAN- The Anderson-Shiro Owls ended their impressive season with a 18-0 loss to the #10 Daingerfield Tigers.
Anderson-Shiro ends its season with an 8-3 record. Senior running back Zacarrius Haynes has been consistent and he ended the season with an impressive 117 yards on 28 carries, however the Owls could only muster 180-yards on offense while allowing 336-yards to Daingerfield.
The Tigers had two rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdown.
Chad Roebuck and Kreese Milligan, both seniors, led the Owl defense leaving everything on the field. Roebuck had 12 tackles six of which were for a loss. Milligan finished with 14 tackles, four tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
Daingerfield (9-2) will face Blue Ridge 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, at Prim Stadium in Sulphur Springs.
