Navasota (8-0) had a big kickoff return from Derrick Booker, who scampered 73 yards for the Fangs first score.
The Fangs used great blocking from linemen, Jose Garcia and Latravious Blackshear, to pull out the win.
Caysian Douglass hauled in a 32-yard pass from Jayden Spriggs. Spriggs also had two touchdown runs of 13 and 3 yards. “Multiple receivers had key completions when the team needed them,” said Fang Coach Brandon Ganske.
The defense forced two interceptions. Jaydon Thomas, and Khriztian Perez each had an interception. Other defensive leaders include Isaiah Silcox, Angel Delarosa and Zachary Pratho.
8th Grade B Team
The Fangs eighth-grade B team finished the season with a 19-7 win over La Grange.
