8U baseball winds district championship

The Grimes County Coach Pitch Baseball All Star Team won the Texas East District 13 Tournament in Sealy June 2-6. The young group of sluggers finished the tournament undefeated. Team members include Eli Alvarez, Jesus Murillo, Hayze Hernadez, Dustin Hudec, Koy Franklin, Alan Balderas, Cooper Hodges, Canton Pierce, Grady Klocek, Austin Jackson and Luke Trant. They are coached by Head Coach Johnny Alvarez, and assistants Alan Johnson, James Nobles, Jordan Tappe and Dustin Hudec.
