PATRICIA ANN STRODE

Patricia Ann Strode, age 75, of Navasota, went to be with the Lord Friday, July

19. A celebration of her life was 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 22, at First Baptist Church of Navasota with interment following in Oakland Cemetery. Rev. Clyde Larrabee officiated. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

One of six children, Pat was born on June 17, 1944 in Waxahachie, Texas to Houston and Faye (Taylor) Wood. Prior to her long battle with lung cancer, Pat worked many years as a secretary at John C. Webb Elementary School, where she was loved by all. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Navasota where she loved caring for the babies in the nursery and singing in the choir.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her husband of almost 55 years, Jerry Strode; her children Kimberly Methvin, Andrea (Doug) Selph, and Joey (Mimi) Strode. She will be dearly missed by her eight grandchildren, Joshua Strode, Rhealyn and Matthew Methvin, Kaitlyn, Sara, and Jenna Strode, Drew and Emme Selph; by her great granddaughter, Reese Meyers; her surviving siblings Lou, Shirley, and Jerry; and by her sister-in-law, Jana (Tom) Miller.

Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and H. B. Wood.
