Patricia Ann Mask Lamberth went home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2024, at the age of eighty-seven (87) years. She was born on December 20, 1936, in Houston, Texas, to Charles Crittenden Mask and Clara Elizabeth McGee Mask.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother and father as well as her sister, Rebecca Mask Battreal and her brother-in-law, Paul Battreal, and her longtime friend and partner, Thomas W. Folmar.

She is survived by her sons, Ross C. Lamberth (Debbie Mullikin) and Jeff C. (Paula) Lamberth, her granddaughter, Sydney E. Lamberth, her grandson, Luke D. Lamberth, and her niece, Paula R. Battreal.

Patricia grew up in Houston Heights, attended John Reagan HS and the University of Houston. She was a member of Houston’s First Baptist Church, enjoyed studying the Bible, and expounding upon her faith. Patricia played the piano and organ for the church, in addition to singing in the choir.

She worked at Transco and Tomasini Pogge, but her favorite was the many years that she worked for the Houston Rockets. The players referred to her as “Mom” and she was a part of the team during the 1994 and 1995 World Championship seasons. She loved traveling, all animals, especially her dogs and cats.

Patricia became ill in January 2019 with dementia, but due to the efforts of Dr. Philip Leggett, Dr. Norman Berkman and Dr. Paul Schultz, she thoroughly enjoyed the last five years of her life with family and friends. Even though she struggled with dementia, her infectious smile and personality will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Patricia was an outstanding teacher and mentor to her sons, but especially her grandchildren. She was extremely proud of all of their accomplishments. We express our sincere love and gratitude to her amazing and loving caregiver, Isabella, who spoiled Patricia with her love, devotion, and dedication. Patricia often expressed that she was extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful person and friend in her life.

A graveside service was held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, at Fairview Cemetery in Whitehall, Texas. On behalf of Ross and Jeff, we sincerely appreciate everyone that came to know our mother, knew that she loved life and all people, and most important, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We know that she is our newest guardian angel and will be watching over and protecting us until we meet again in Heaven.
