Her dining room table heard many a story and shared many a laugh. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend who touched many lives with her kind spirit and quiet strength. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Fritz (wife Lillian), Bernhard, and Melvin (wife Dorothy Marie), sister Leona Lunsford (husband Billy), and sister-in-law Geraldine Binford (husband Donald). She is survived by her children, son, Ricky Schroeder and wife Sandy of Anderson; daughter, Brenda Schroeder of Anderson; sister, Minette Grice and husband Johnny of Navasota; brother-in-law Gerald Schroeder and wife Mary of Anderson; granddaughters, Loren Burns and husband Blake of Shiro, and Megan Schroeder of Bryan; and “her girls” great granddaughters, Harper and Rylee Burns.
