MELVILLE HARRY STEUBING
On Saturday, June 4, 2022, Melville Harry Steubing went to be with the Lord (John 3:16). He loved Jesus, family, and friends. Throughout his 85 years, Melville enjoyed ranching, bowling, traveling, dining, and reading the Bible.
Melville was born in San Antonio, Texas August 27, 1936, to Ella Louise Tampke Steubing and Harry William Steubing. He attended Schertz Cibolo High School, Blinn, and Sam Houston State University. Melville married Cinda Belle Howard June 27, 1959. He worked 25 years for the IRS. Melville managed JX Ranches up until his passing.
Melville is survived by his wife of 63 years Cinda Steubing; daughters, Brenda Steubing and husband James Chapman of San Antonio, TX, Beverly Box and husband Gary Box of Carrizo Springs, TX; grandchildren, Chelsie Shock and husband John Shock of Lafayette, LA, Chadley Box and wife Ashley Box of College Station, TX; great grandchildren, Sabine, Colin, Hayes, and Margot Shock.
Services were held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Porter Loring North in San Antonio, Texas. Visitation was from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
