MARY JEANETTE MEINEKE 1943 – 2024

MEINEKE Mary Jeanette Meineke, of Navasota, went home to be with the Lord December 27, 2024, at the age of 81.

She was born March 3, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Rufus and Evie Cowart.

Jeanette loved the Lord and had scriptures and versus tucked away all over her house. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and always loved preparing good homemade meals.

Jeanette enjoyed all sorts of hobbies like reading, flower gardens, cooking and quilting just to name a few.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Meineke, as well as a sister and brother.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Terri Spencer and husband; stepdaughter, Julie Mould and husband; sisters Evelyn Hyland and Patsy James; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2025, at Faith Outreach Church in Navasota. Pastor Henry Sanders will officiate.
