JUNE L. (UEKERT) WINKLEMANN

Mrs. June L. (Uekert) Winkelmann, 80, of Navasota, passed away Wednesday, April 3, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in College Station. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, also at the funeral chapel with interment following in Oakland Cemetery. The Rev. Matthias Dinger will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Winkelmann was born Nov. 5, 1938, in Bell-ville, Texas, to Ben and Norma Ueckert. She graduated from Bellville High School and attended Uni-verity of Texas in Austin, where she obtained her degree in nursing. June married Odell Winkelmann in Bellville on July 20, 1958, and the couple settled in the Navasota area. June worked as a nurse and her husband as a manager for Trinity Industries for many years.

She is survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in law, Erline and Ernest Wellmann and Leroy and Delores Winkelmann.

Serving as pallbearers are Carl Dahmann, Wade Wellmann, Donald Winkelmann, Robert Winkelmann, Hilario Garcia Jr. and Jaime Garcia.

Mrs. Winkelmann was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Winkelmann.
