DANNY FINKE

Funeral services for Danny Finke will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett. Minister Brenda Eagans will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Little Flock Cemetery near Jewett.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Danny Finke passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, in Conroe.

He was born in Houston on December 10, 1957 to Cecil & Shirley Jean Finke. Danny graduated from MacArthur High School with the class of 1976. After graduation, he coached little league baseball and football to numerous kids. It was one of his passions.

Danny enjoyed cooking and preparing food and was always the cook at family gatherings. He was a big fan of the Houston Texans and the Houston Astros. Danny owned a fireplace service company for many years. For the past several years, he was involved in Rain International Seed Nutrition Company. He loved to help others and teach them about health and nutrition. Danny was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran

Church in Houston.

He is survived by his father, Cecil Finke of Houston; one brother, Devin Finke of Houston; two nephews, Tray Finke and Dayne Finke; one uncle, Gene Harris; two aunts, Jeanette Thomas and Yvonne Thomas; numerous cousins and friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jean Finke.
