ANNIE “RED” TURNER 1946 – 2025

On February 4, 2025, at 78 years old, Annie departed her earthly life and gained her Heavenly wings.

Annie Turner "Red" was born December 27, 1946 in Grimes County to the late CB Arrington and Addie Mae Arrington. She accepted Christ at an early age and she was a member at St. Martinsville Baptist Church in Navasota.

Annie attended church faithfully. She was a faithful usher for many years. Annie attended George Washington Carver district where she retired. Annie loved her children, family and had a special love for her grandkids and great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her maternal great grandparents Ennis White Sr and Lula White, her parental grandparents Phillip and Stella Arrington, her late brothers Robert Taylor and James Taylor Sr and her late companion for over 40 years Allen Williams Jr.

Annie leaves to cherish her two sons Ricky Turner (Vashana) Clark Turner and her daughters Sharon Amerson (Dustin), her sisters Fannie Mason, Shirley Arrington, Helen Owens, Lilian Thomas (Clarence) two brothers Roland (RL) Arrington, William Arrington (Lessie) her sister-in-law Mary Taylor, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grand kids, a host of necessity, nephews, great nieces and nephews, close cousins and other relatives and friends.
