VFW collecting toys for kids

Grimes County Veterans of Foreign War Post 4006 is collecting new or slightly used toys for under-privileged children in Grimes County.

Donations may be dropped off at the VFW Post home, 1575 West Washington Avenue between the hours of 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. daily. The last day to drop off will be Dec. 20.

A collection box is located inside the do or to the lounge on the left side of the building. If you know of a family who can use some help, please let us know. Also, if any businesses are willing to help collect donations, contact the Post, 936-825-3666.
