Twilight Firelight Saturday

ANDERSON- Take a journey back in time and discover the historic 1850s Fanthorp Inn during a unique experience. Twilight Firelight will take place from 4:30 p.m. till 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30.

Ride a mule-drawn stagecoach from the Grimes County Courthouse through downtown Anderson and arrive at Fanthorp Inn, 579 South Main Street. There you will be greeted by the glow of candles flickering from the parlor windows and fiddle music echoing through the air.

Music will be provided by Star of Texas Duleimers and Celtaire String Band complete with dancing. Experience campfire cooking and re-enactors dressed in period attire.

There is no admission but a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under will be accepted. For those planning on attending dress weather appropriate as some portions of the experience are held outdoors.
