Truck, home lost in Anderson fire

Anderson Volunteer Fire Department had an eventful Sunday responding to a structure fire on County Road 185, northwest of Anderson. The home was a complete loss, but thankfully no one was home. Approximately 2 acres also burned. While responding, an AVFD firefighter was involved in a major accident. The truck was totaled but the firefighter sustained only minor injuries. Courtesy photo
