The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in the community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most people will need blood in their lifetime.

Join the American Red Cross for a lifesaving mission during a blood drive Tuesday, Aug. 2, at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 616 Holland Street in Navasota from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m.
