A-S FFA competes at Blackland District Convention
Anderson-Shiro FFA competed at the District IV Black-land District Convention and Speaking Event Contest, April
15. McKenna Holloway placed first in Senior Public Speaking, Ag Technologies Division and Delaney Pavelock placed second in the Ag Policy Division. Both Hollaway and Pavelock advance to the Area XI contest May 16, at Blinn College in Brenham.
Tyler Bell competed in the talent competition and placed second. He will advance to Area May 17, to compete for his chance to move on to the state contest this summer in Ft Worth.
Zane Moriarty secured his spot as District IV Blackland District Vice President. As part of his run for office he was required to take an exam, deliver a speech and interview in front of a panel of judges.
