Pocahontas welcome special guests

The Pocahontas Society Children of the American Revolution, in Navasota were visited by the Texas President of the Children of the American Revolution, Caroline Jackson. She presented her state project that benefits the National Buffalo Soldier Museum in Houston. Funds raised will create additional exhibits at the museum. The meeting was also attended by National Vice President, South Central Region, Catherine Jackson. During the meeting members made valentines to send to State Veterans homes. Members attending include Mackenzie Mayfield, curator; Braxton Mayfield, recording secretary; Bella Proske, corresponding secretary; Scarlett Proske, treasurer; Bonnie Meredith, second vice president; and Reagan Meredith, president.
