Peterson graduates academy, begins patrol

Navasota Police Officer, Evan Peterson, was sworn into duty Wednesday, Sept. 7, by Navasota Municipal Judge, Patricia Gruner. Peterson was hired by Navasota Police Department in Nov. 2021 and attended Conroe Police Academy for 8 months. He graduated from the academy Sept. 1, recognized as the Top Academic Cadet and Top Overall Recruit. He will serve under Interim Police Chief Mike Mize.
