Roof Repairs
The bids are in and several buildings across Navasota ISD will undergo roof repairs as a result of insurance claims from hail damage.
Big Bear roofing out of Waco will perform the repairs at John C. Webb Elementary, High Point Elementary, and on the modular buildings at the high school housing science and special education.
Approximately 10,720 square feet of roofing will be replaced at John C. Webb for a cost of $49,000. High Point Elementary has approximately 13,150 square feet of roofing to be repaired for $55,196. The high school science building is 1,710 square feet and special education building 1,930 square feet. The combined cost for those two buildings is $18,000.
According to Navasota ISD Assistant Superintendent of Operations, Dr. Ronnie Gonzalez none of the buildings are currently leaking. The roof replacement will come with a 20-year warranty.
The roofs of the bathrooms at Brule Field will have its shingle roof replaced. That project will be done by America’s Choice Roofing.
