Meet the 2019-2020 Rattlers
The anticipation for the 2019-2020 high school years is almost underway and the Navasota Athletic Booster Club (NABC) is bringing in the school year with a bang.
NABC is hosting its 2nd Annual Meet the Rattlers community pep rally Thursday, August 15, 8 p.m. at Rattler Stadium. Last year, the event was a huge success with a huge turnout of families and community members to help kick off the new school year and football season.
This year the booster club is excited to feature a fireworkâs show. The short display will kick off the 2019-2020 school year for Navasota ISD and the community with a bang .
The community pep rally recognizes all campus administrative teams, athletic teams, groups from Navasota Jr. High School and Navasota High School. We also honor many of our academic clubs such as National Honor Society, Student Council, Art Club, etc.
NABC also invites and recognizes local Veterans of Foreign War, Boy and Girl Scout Troops, and younger athletes and future Rattlers such as Grimes County Youth Soccer and the local youth football players and cheerleaders.
Navasota varsity cheerleaders, Diamonettes and varsity football players and coaching staff for the Rattlers will also be introduced.
At the pep rally $1 hot dogs, drinks, and other items will be sold in an effort to provide a cost friendly meal for families. Kona Ice will also be set up and selling snow cones.
Some of NISD local teachers will provide free face painting for the children.
