Navasota Police are searching for a 56-year-old male, Steven Irvin, of Willis, who is suspected of stealing an antique Texaco sign from Navasota Oil.

Officers responded to a report of theft Sun day, May 29, from a business at the 200 block of 7th Street. Video footage of the suspect was posted on social media, and on June 8, Navasota Police Investigators positively identified the suspect.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Theft ($2,500- $30,00), a State Jail Felony. Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Irvin are urged to contact Navasota Police Department, 936-825-6410 or Grimes County Crime Stoppers, 936-870- 2000.
