Fauth sworn in as BVCOG Chairman

At the 55^th annual meeting of the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG), Grimes County Judge Joe Fauth, was sworn in as the next Chairman of the Executive Board. 

Judge Fauth’s term will start Oct. 1 and conclude Sept. 30, 2023. Fauth will assist Executive Director Michael Parks, in the planning and operation of the Brazos Valley Council of Governments. Parks is responsible for the day-to- day operation of the BVCOG, whereas Fauth will chair the monthly meetings of the BVCOG. Both are regularly involved in operational activities throughout each month.

The Brazos Valley Council of Governments serves more than 300,000 citizens in its seven-county area. BVCOG provides and manages almost 30 programs and services that benefit the citizens of the Brazos Valley area.
