Exploring cultures through food

Texas A&M AgriLife in partnership with Prairie View A&M University is taking children on a journey through different parts of the world with the Eat 2 Explore Cooking Class at Bedias Civic Center, 3652 Main Street. The cooking program is designed to educate, entertain and impower children to learn about different foods and cultures. The first class on July 6, explored Mexico. Additional classes are July 11, 21, 26 and Aug. 4, from 11 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Each class features a surprise journey to different cultures.
