The summer is heating up in Texas and the rise in temperatures can be deadly without residents having the means to stay cool. Texas residents can stay substantially cooler by using fans to supplement air conditioning. For the 19th year, Entergy TexasInc. is stepping up to combat the heat donating 1,300 fans to nonprofit agencies to help low-income customers.
Fans were dispersed between 19 entities throughout the western region of Texas including 50 fan donations to Christian Community Center, 814 N. Lasalle St, in Navasota.
