Grimes County Sheriff’s Office promoted two new deputies, Deputy Braden Copeland and Deputy Dante Spears. Both officers served as jailers at the Grimes County Jail for multiple years before successfully completing TEEX Central Texas Police Academy. Spears began working for GCSO in 2018 and Copeland began in 2021.
