City launches “Clean the Creek Week” seeking volunteers

The City of Navasota is launching “Clean the Creek Week” (along Cedar Creek), beginning Monday, to remove debris, waste and clear overgrown shrubs and vegetation.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 14, through Saturday, Nov. 19, City of Navasota staff alongside any willing volunteers will meet daily at the Navasota Center, 101 Stadium Drive in Navasota. The project is 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves.
