Annual KBTX Food for Families Food Drive
The holidays are a time when family and friends come together. As preparation for the holidays begin, you and your family are invited to join us Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Mid-South Electric Co-op office in Navasota for the 23rd Annual KBTX Food for Families Food Drive from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m.
During this event KBTX will broadcast live throughout the day working to alleviate hunger in the Brazos Valley. Shop any of your local grocery stores to support this incredible effort that benefits the Grimes County area pantries and the Brazos Valley Food Bank, a nonprofit organization, seeking to eliminate hunger by the distribution of food and grocery products through a network of nonprofit organizations while providing education and community awareness on issues of hunger. Together everyone can make a difference. All donations will remain in the county in which they are donated.
MidSouth Electric Co-op is located at 7625 Hwy 6 in Navasota.
Additional drop sites include the Brazos Center in Bryan, 5:30 a.m. till 10:35 p.m. Navasota Valley Electric Co-op in Franklin, 6 a.m. till 7 p.m. and the Kim-bro Center in Madisonville from 6 a.m. till 7 p.m.
