BRYAN- A Navasota man was arrested at a Bryan apartment complex accused of breaking into several vehicles and stealing multiple packages from residents.
Bryan Ramirez, 23, of Navasota was taken into custody Saturday, Dec. 9, as Bryan Police found him in custody of stolen items in a parking lot located at 4475 Carter Creek Parkway.
According to police reports, officers were dispatched to the apartment complex after residents reported hearing several car alarms go off and one resident indicated they witnessed Ramirez attempting to break into cars.
A search of Ramirez’s vehicle found items stolen from vehicles at the apartment complex, packages taken from doorsteps as well as an item taken from a storage closet. Police also found marijuana, Xanax and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Among the stolen items recovered were a bottle of whiskey, dolls, baked goods, a sound bar, iPhone, iPod, sunglasses, picnic basket, toolbox and two handgun magazines.
Ramirez reportedly admitted to the crimes and being intoxicated at the time the crimes were committed. He was booked in the Brazos County Jail on charges of burglary of a building, theft of mail and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
He was being held on a $21,680 bond.
