Lynn Grove Methodist Church Homecoming Oct. 8
Since I was handicapped without a computer, my VFW meeting agenda was cut, taped, partially typed and parts were hand-written. My work looked like a kindergarten student made it. Either way, the District 17 Auxiliary President, his Jr. Vice and the State Guard all thought it was quite humorous. They complimented our Auxiliary and how it was fun to be with us. Conclusion to my story, we received a good inspection.
Selecting and purchasing this new computer was an experience. I told Kacie I may be eating dry beans for a while, and she offered a bag to me. The sales staff at Best Buy are college age students who know everything about computers, and I guess they assume old people know what they are talking about. Setting it up at home was interesting. I realized that the mouse and keyboard are wireless, only after I could not find a colored spot to put the wires in (like the old computer). The keyboard worked but the mouse didn’t. After a few minutes Kacie asked where the batteries were. I laughed because they were in the box.
