Masonic lodges install officers

The Installation of officers of Orphans Friends Masonic Lodge No 17 was held Saturday, July 9, at their lodge hall in Anderson with a good number attending. Some of the previous officers remained but several were first time officers. Following the ceremony, a meal was served. Everyone had a great time.

The service at Evergreen Baptist Church was dedicated to the children who attended two weeks of church camp at Camp Pineywoods. There were 37 children that attended camp as well as several adults. A good time was enjoyed by all. Several children accepted Christ as their Savior and others made decisions that will accept their lives as well. May God bless their lives.

Iola-North Zulch Order of the Eastern Star No 458 will have their monthly meeting at the Pyramid Masonic Lodge Building in North Zulch Monday, July 25. The meeting will begin with a covered dish meal at 6:30 p.m. followed by the meeting. All Star members are invited to attend.

The Installation of officers of Bedias Masonic Lodge No 651 will be held at their lodge hall at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23. Hope all Masons will be able to attend.
