Keith Civic Club meeting March 23

The Keith Civic Club monthly meeting is Thursday, March 23, at Keith Community Center. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a covered dish meal followed by their business meeting. All members are expected, and visitors are always welcome. Come out and meet with your friends and neighbors.

Daylight Saving Time began March 12. Do hope you remembered to change your clock.

Iola North Zulch Order of the Eastern Star will have their monthly meeting Monday, March 27. The meeting will begin with a covered dish meal at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by the business meeting. All Eastern Star members are invited to attend.

Evergreen Baptist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt following service Sunday, April 2. Prior to the hunt, there will be a covered dish meal. Everyone is invited. Come celebrate Palm Sunday. 

Keith Civic Club will host a garage sale at Keith Community Center Saturday, April 22, beginning at 8 a.m. A variety of good items will be available for sale. Vendor spots will be available outside for $25 for those wanting to host their own sale. If you wish to rent a spot call my cell phone or call Mac, 979-820-0104.

There will be a bake sale April 8, at the Aurora store on Highway 30 beginning at 8 a.m. Come out and support a worthy cause. Also try to buy your desserts for Easter. There will be lots of good items to choose from. Hopefully the weather will be good.

Several members of Bedias Masonic Lodge No 651 attended the monthly meeting of Cedar Creek Masonic Lodge No 300 in Brazos County Tuesday, March 14. Members attending include Larry Smith, Cory Tatum, Johnny Brackman, John Ray Maxwell, Freddy Hines, Kenneth Kelso and the lodges Worshipful Master Larry Lynch. The purpose of the visit was to secure the traveling gavel. They were successful. There was a room filled with Masons, and the covered dish meal was enjoyed by all.
