Mark your calendar for Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. when Wendy Watriss and Fred Baldwin, renowned international photojournalists, will return to Grimes County. Nearly five decades ago in the early 1970s, they first came to Grimes County to photograph local families and events that thrust them into world-known prominence.
Wendy and Fred will show a PowerPoint composite photo exhibit entitled “Grimes County a Journey in Time.” The pair’s time in Grimes County extended into the 1980s. They are eager to welcome and meet many of their long-known friends.
The event presented by Two Rivers Heritage Foundation and the Grimes County Historical Commission is free and open to the public. Location will be at the Navasota Center, 101 Stadium Drive in Navasota.
