Believers Fellowship, 9221 FM 1774 is inviting everyone out to their catfish lunch Saturday, Feb. 22, from noon till 3 p.m. For information call 832-338-9567.
Plantersville Town Hall is having a Catfish Dinner and Raffle Friday, March 6, at 8227 CR 205. St. Mary’s Catholic Church doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Lisa Atkinson is the host. Tickets may be purchased at the Plantersville Water Company, from scholarship applicants or board members. Tables are available for reservations by contacting Terry Bratcher, 832-419-0157 before March 1. There will be a live auction and donations are being accepted. Contact Karen Hale or a board member if you would like to volunteer. All proceeds will go toward renovating the playground at the Plantersville Townhall and for scholarships. Veterans needing flu shots can get a free flu vaccine at Walgreens until March 31, 2020. To receive the free vaccine, veterans need to have their Veterans Health ID card and have one other form of ID.
