Bizzell celebrates graduates
Vacation Bible School for Salem Lutheran is July 11-15. Generally, the age is three years to eighth grade, but I would have to do a little more research on that. Feel free to send your child to enjoy the Bible stories, make crafts and eat good snacks!
Well, this week I got into all sorts of trouble, just over weed eating. I did several hours of that chore and if I had to admit it, I felt the pain afterwards. Next time I won’t do as much at one time. Otherwise, I am trying to behave and take care of this knee.
Union Grove Baptist Church will host a monthlong VBS every Tuesday in June from 9 a.m. until 12:30 pm. The VBS theme this year is “Growing with God.” Children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade are invited! Each day there will be a Bible lesson, recreation, music, crafts and snacks for the children. VBS began June 7, and continues June 14, 21, and 28. Children may attend any or all of these days. W.B. Bizzell graduated 30 students at the Brosig Performing Arts Center Thursday, June 2. With the last two years being a struggle, Paige graduated. She has worked two jobs for nearly 18 months and finally was fortunate to get a fulltime job at P Nemir. Thank you, Rob and Jessica for believing in her. This makes high school graduate number two and three more to go for this old Gingi! The guests in the audience were so supportive of the students which were good because their shouts of excitement allowed ‘Little Man’ to yell and laugh as loud as he wanted.
