Well, here we go into a new year with renewed hope for help to those who have defended our country. As veterans, let us not forget each other. An occasional phone call greeting to a fellow vet could be just the thing that he or she needs at that moment in time. In other words, stay in touch with each other and not just by way of social media. A personal phone call could be the thing that helps a veteran over a rough spot in their life.

Read moreI recently finished Season Four of the Netflix series, “The Crown.” Despite having a framed picture of Princess Diana on the opening day of Parliament in 1991 snapped by husband on a business trip to London, I’m not one of those folks fascinated with royalty. But I have to admit I’ve greatly enjoyed “The Crown,” so much so that I introduced my gentleman friend to the series and am watching it again with him. It’s amazing the details you miss the first time you watch a program and I have some thoughts about that, but I’ll share those later.
