Visitation was held Tuesday, May 12, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel. There was a private graveside service. Mrs. Frances Flores, (formerly of Navasota) 80, of Iola, passed away Tuesday, May 5, at CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Visitation with family and friends were held Saturday, May 9, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. A memorial service celebrating her life was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, at the family ranch, 9355 Panther Creek Road, Iola, Texas. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Mabel Akin, 104, of Navasota, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at Seasons Assisted Living in Navasota. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there was no funeral service or visitation. Rev. Mac Vaughn officiated at her burial service on April 24 at Oakland Cemetery. The family plans to hold a memorial service at a later date.
