Wayne Bosse, 79, of Washington, passed away Thursday, July 14, at CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Navasota. Visitation with family and friends was held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of life was held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, at Friedens Church of Washington, U.C.C. in Washington, Texas with interment following in the church cemetery. Rev. Glen Schoenberg and Rev. Eric Dehmer officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Visitation with family and friends was held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, at Nobles Funeral Chapel, located at 402 E. Blackshear, Navasota, Texas. A funeral service celebrating her life began at 10:30 a.m., Friday July 8, at First Baptist Church in Shiro, Texas, followed by interment in Independence Cemetery, also in Shiro. Rev. Cecilia Kirk, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2022. She was born on January 29, 1945 in New Mexico. She grew up with her family in Uvalde, Texas, where they raised Nubian milk goats. Cecilia loved animals and collected wild critters like skunks and snakes. Her sister, Nancy, bought her a horse named Black Beauty, that Cecilia had for 30 years and loved.

Dr. Nancy Joe Dyer, 80, of Navasota, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 5, surrounded by family. Nancy Joe was born on April 15, 1942 in Navasota, Texas to Onis and Josephine (Greenwood) Dyer. A lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Navasota, where she served as an elder and Sunday School teacher for many years, Nancy Joe’s faith remained central to her throughout her life. She was a professor, a scholar, and a mentor who positively impacted countless people during her rich life.

Elois Rosa Lee Neinast Glover, age 97, was born in the community of Long Point in Burton, TX on July 5, 1925 and died on July 5, 2022 in Brenham, TX. She grew up on the family farm, was confirmed at St Paul’s Lutheran Church of Rehburg, and graduated from Somerville High School in 1943.
