At midday on Monday, April 8, parts of North America will experience a total solar eclipse. At approximately noon CST the moon’s shadow will reach land near Sinaloa, Mexico. In Texas, totality will begin at 1:30 p.m. CDT near Del Rio and proceed northeast across Texas. At approximately 1:40 p.m. CDT, Brazos Valley counties will see a partial eclipse. A total eclipse can be experienced in the cities of San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, etc.
