The summer program is open to middle or high school teachers/counselors and provides an opportunity for exposure to different components of the participating businesses. Teachers/counselors work with business staff for three days a week in an office setting or out in the field, depending on the business, and create lesson plans for their students that demonstrate the relationship between academic knowledge, workplace skills and the needs of local employers.
