With a 3-1 vote, the Navasota Planning and Zoning Commission denied a replat request submitted by J&H Development and property owner Claire Taylor to replat three existing 10-acre lots into 14 single dwelling residential lots along Back Nine Lane in Pecan Lakes Estates Phase 2. According to the application, two of the 14 would remain as large acreage residential lots.

POINT BLANK — The Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a fatal crash on U.S. Highway 190, near Point Blank, that occurred June 25. The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 9:44 a.m., a 2008 Honda Pilot was traveling east, while a 2016 International truck tractor was traveling west.
