My husband was involved in a hit and run accident April 8, on FM 1774 North and CR 313. The guy hit my husband on the right side as he was beginning to make the right turn onto CR 313 and then he left the scene. He didn’t know if my husband was alright or not.

While crossing the dessert they rejoiced when seeing a palm tree because it indicated an oasis with life-giving water was near. Palms are also a sign of victory, success and glory. On Palm Sunday Jews waved the palms as Jesus entered into Jerusalem. Jesus was later crucified and rose from the grave. Palm Sunday is still celebrated and begins “Holy Week.” To stay in accordance with CDC guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic, palms were blessed at the Christ our Light Catholic Church Vigil Mass in Navasota and were available for drive-thru pickup on Palm Sunday.
