The Grimes County Mobile Food Bank will be open Thursday, May 9 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the back-parking lot of the Grimes County Fairgrounds in Navasota. Any resident of Grimes County will be served and only need to show their driver’s license when they complete the once-a-year Client Assistant Intake form. It has been somewhat of a slow week for me. My week began Saturday with a District VFW meeting at the Conroe VFW Post. The four of us who attended had a good time. I appreciate all the friends I have made during my time with the VFW Auxiliary. The kindness shown to me makes me strive even harder to be a good and effective president for the Grimes County Post 4006 Auxiliary.
