Read moreA good number attended the graveside service for Kevin Blake McDuffie at Evergreen Cemetery Wednesday, Sept. 8. He passed away Sept. 1, after a short illness in the Tomball Hospital. He was the son of Pam Johnson who survives him. He is also survived by his wife Kristi, several grandchildren, his grandmother Ima Myrle Burns McDuffie and several aunts and uncles. Remember all of them in your prayers.

The team consisting of a mixture of 12 junior high to senior aged players, played hard throughout the tournament. Prior to the NISD Freshman tournament, the Lady Panthers competed at NISD in the varsity tournament, bringing home second place in the silver bracket. The ladies will compete again in the Navasota Junior High Tournament Saturday, Sept. 25.

I have seen several colors, but last Friday orange was the color and the first attempt for the smoke failed. That was actually not okay as Bree got the canister and started running to get it to blow out. Knowing how accident-prone she is, it was a fearful few moments. I was the happy halftime attempt worked well except for all the people coughing as the wind blew smoke toward the Yeguas team fans. Have you figured out who purchased the smoke?
